 Accountability to Human Rights: Thailand’s Ongoing Challenge in its UNHRC Seat, co-organized by Amnesty International Thailand, Thai Lawyers for Human Rights (TLHR), International Commission of Jurists (ICJ), and the Amnesty People, will take place on 25 October 2024 at The Society, Bangkok.

This event will bring together experts, human rights defenders, and key stakeholders to assess Thailand's role and responsibilities following its election to the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) for the 2025-2027 term.

 Discussions will focus on ongoing human rights violations, the gap between international commitments and domestic realities, and actionable recommendations for improving human rights protection in the country. The event is open to Embassies, civil society organizations, and the media. Interpretation services will be available in Thai and English.
